Michele Davda (she/her)

Executive Director & Board President

Michele is Aria's mother and her partner with Your Identity Transitions. Her first experience helping a trans person with changing their name and gender marker with the state and on government identification documents was with Aria. It was then that she and Aria realized that many trans and queer people wanting to legally change their name and gender marker may find it very difficult to navigate the process alone. Michele's goal is to help make the experience as easy and trouble free as possible for their clients.

Michele is a certified mediator and divorce specialist with extensive experience with court filings and government forms. She is also the owner of Your Voice Mediation, a service that helps individuals find solutions to disputes. Her education also includes a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and a M.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Florida.

Michele currently lives in Trego, Montana with her partner, Pete, and their labradoodle, Winnie, and pyredoodle, Shaila, where she enjoys hiking, camping, snowshoeing, and working on their land.

Aria is Michele’s daughter and a trans woman. Aria has a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas Arlington and has always had the goal of helping to improve her fellow queer community. It was during her own transition that she fully realized how much she could help with navigating the nightmare bureaucracy behind updating government identification. She knows how scary, frustrating, and downright confusing the whole process can be and wants to simplify the ordeal as much as possible. Aria is very in touch with the queer community and is committed to ensuring a safe and validating experience.

Aria is 26 and currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her girlfriend. She enjoys video games such as World of Warcraft, sitcom TV shows, and dogs in sweaters.
